Powerplant
Engines enrolled on Pratt and Whitney ESP Gold Lite
Two Pratt & Whitney Canada, PW545A turbofan engines are located, one on each side of the rear fuselage, in easily accessible nacelles.
The PW545A produces a static takeoff thrust of 3,804 pounds, seal level, up to 83 °F. Featuring a new, high efficiency exhaust nozzle, the PW545A has a bypass ratio of 4.0 to 1. The PW545A uses a single channel EEC (electronic engine control) to reduce pilot workload with a hydromechanical fuel control for redundancy. The PW545A permits a maximum engine fan speed (N1) of 100% and a maximum engine turbine speed (N2) of 101.2%.
A continuous loop fire detection system monitors the nacelle area to detect and warn if a fire occurs. A two-shot fire extinguishing system is supplied. Target-type, hydraulically actuated thrust reversers are standard.
Installed Equipment
RVSM Capable, APU with Hour Meter in Cockpit, Thrust Reversers, 76 cu. Ft. Oxygen, Right Hand Landing Gear Control, Engine Chip Detector, Lead Acid Battery, Ethernet Wires between DTU and FMS, Cockpit Speaker Mute Switch.
