The Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite was chosen for the Mustang front office because it delivers at-a-glance awareness that is comprehensive and intuitive. Consolidating all primary flight, navigation, engine and sensor data onto large, easy-to-scan flat-panel displays, the three-screen Garmin G1000 avionics suite significantly reduces pilot workload, while providing the ultimate measure of situational awareness. This same proven flight deck is standard on our legacy single engine aircraft as well as the current Corvalis and all Caravan models. So should you decide to add a new, fun-to-fly single engine or workhorse Caravan to your personal fleet, the learning curve is low and the transition is smooth.
Located between the flight deck’s two 10.4-inch (.26 m) Primary Flight Displays (PFDs) is one of the largest Multi-Function Displays (MFD) found on any business jet. The 15-inch (.38-m) display is just one feature (albeit a huge one) designed for natural and seamless monitoring of flight information. Everything from aircraft position and air data to engine instrumentation, real-time weather, traffic and terrain can be gathered and assimilated in a click.
